Roelf’s practice consists plaintiff personal injury law with a focus on tort, accident benefits and long term disability disputes. Roelf enjoys successfully assisting people with their cases and bringing their cases to a successful resolution. Roelf will assist you in exploring the various ways in which your life has been impacted due to injury and will advocate strongly on your behalf.

Roelf’s background is somewhat unusual. He was born and raised in the Netherlands and worked and studied in Amsterdam. After meeting a Canadian girl on holidays, Roelf ended up immigrating to Canada where he completed his studies at the University of Toronto. Roelf sped through his studies at the University of Toronto and graduated with High Distinction. He was on the Dean’s list for his years at University of Toronto and received a scholarship for Academic Excellence. Roelf obtained his law degree from the University of Western Ontario. While at law school, Roelf assisted Professor, Craig Brown during the summers with updating the loose leaf edition of “Insurance Law in Canada”. Prior to joining Elkin Injury Law, Roelf practiced as an associate lawyer, at a Hamilton law firm, specializing in accident benefit insurance. Roelf has appeared on behalf of Elkin Injury Law clients successfully in court on various issues and with the Licensing Appeals Tribunal.

Roelf is happily married to the Canadian girl he met years ago and enjoys spending his time off with his wife and three children.
